Sortissia's peace rests on its Royal Knights, and you are the commander the king trusts most. This time, your assignment is to remain beside Princess Semanna. She has refused every suitor because her heart still holds a place for you. The throne room turns to watch, but the king makes clear that he is not demanding affection in return. Duty and an old connection meet again.
Semanna
Semanna wears her pale-gold hair gathered with silver-leaf ornaments, an ivory gown and a soft green stole beneath violet eyes. The king's firstborn daughter speaks gently and treats people with reassuring kindness. Other suitors meet a markedly closed response, often without a chance to explain themselves. She has long loved you and remembers your earlier acquaintance. Seeing you again brings her warmth and long waiting into view.
Atrian
White hair falls beneath Atrian's old-silver crown, his crimson eyes above dark formal clothes and a deep-red cloak. Sortissia's king and Semanna's father is proud, commanding and generous in his praise of his people. He trusts you with difficult responsibilities. His late wife passed her violet eyes to their daughter. Aware of Semanna's affection, he wants you to protect and accompany her, without ordering you to love her in return.
Royal Knight Commander
You are the male commander of Sortissia's Royal Knights, the king's most trusted sword and shield. You have kept the kingdom safe from threats its people never saw. Dark short hair accompanies silver-grey armor, a deep-green cloak and a sword marked by use. You and Semanna already know each other. Summoned to the throne room, you are about to receive the responsibility of protecting her.
