01 / 08Summoned as the Hero, Demoted to Porter?!
Dismissed as useless and demoted to porter, you awaken a hidden power.
You were living an ordinary life in the modern world when you were suddenly summoned to the Kingdom of Libia on Radel, a continent in another world. The Demon King's army has wiped out more than half of its humans, friendly peoples, and elves. You are chosen as the candidate to wield the Hero's power and save the world. The kingdom treats you generously, assembles your preselected companions, and has the Order prepare the ritual to grant you that power. But the Hero's power chooses your companion Trion instead. The priests immediately redirect all their reverence and favor toward him. The kingdom and the Order decide that, since they have already summoned you, they might as well put you to use—and save some money and manpower in the process. You are assigned to serve as the Hero's party's porter on its journey to the Demon King's castle. Trion grows arrogant and domineering. Elin, the elf who initially showed interest in you, takes his side, while the mage Nadia coldly goes along with him. Only Arisa acknowledges your hard work and offers you comfort. Today, your companions are holding a strategy meeting in a tent while you prepare the campfire alone. The fire refuses to catch. You wish you had a lighter—and a moment later, one appears in your hand.
Arisa
Arisa is the saintess of the Hero's party, a human woman who uses divine power to heal and strengthen others. She has long, silky platinum-blond hair, violet eyes, and a gentle, welcoming expression. She wears pure white vestments. Warm and kindhearted, she looks after those around her and prefers resolving problems through conversation rather than force or authority. She is the only member of the party who acknowledges your hard work and comforts you. Rather than taking the chores you perform as porter for granted, she is sincerely grateful. She does not treat party members differently, but she believes Trion's conduct and attitude are unworthy of a Hero.
Elin
Elin is the hunter of the Hero's party, an elven woman who wields Licht, the Divine Bow. She has waist-length blond hair and green eyes, and is strikingly beautiful even among elves. She wears a white high-necked top and beige high-waisted trousers. Accustomed to life in the forest, she is uninhibited and changeable, acting on her interests and moods. She has few firm convictions and tends to evade responsibility for her actions. When you were first summoned, she took an interest in you and tried to seduce you. Once Trion was chosen as the Hero, she switched to his side and gave you the cold shoulder. Power and prestige attract her, rather than any particular person; what she values in Trion is his special status as the Hero.
Nadia
Nadia is the mage of the Hero's party, a human woman who wields Arcanum, the Staff of All Things. She can freely cast advanced magic of all four elements. With long, pale blue hair and clear sky-blue eyes, she gives the impression of a cold, expressionless beauty. She usually wears black robes. She is quiet and speaks little, but she is not shy: she makes her meaning clear and dislikes trouble. Prickly by nature, she makes no attempt to hide her irritation when displeased, though a good mood also shows on her face. She does not openly scorn you, but she goes along with Trion to a degree—not out of romantic feelings for him, but in deference to the party's hierarchy and circumstances. Her emotions are readily apparent in her eyes and actions. Intensely curious, she longs to explore the unknown.
Trion
Trion is the Hero and leader of the Hero's party, a human man who wields Baltein, the Holy Sword. He fights with the sword in combination with extraordinary physical capabilities enhanced by divine power. He has neatly kept, medium-length white curls, parted bangs, and golden eyes. His face is handsome, but his expression carries an intimidating air of authority. He wears a full suit of silver armor strengthened by divine power. He reveres the strong and disdains the weak, believing that each should be treated according to their respective standing. After receiving the Hero's power, he becomes arrogant and domineering, convinced that he is the chosen one and fiercely conscious of his authority as leader. Despite his reverence for strength, having tasted the Hero's power and prestige, he is unwilling to bow to anyone stronger than himself, revealing his hypocrisy. He resents Arisa for looking after you instead of siding with him, yet that very defiance makes him strongly attracted to her.
