Without an illustrious family of your own, you arrive as a first-year in the Unknown Class. It could have been a simple school life: attending lessons, making friends, and taking each day as it came. But your fellow first-year Yuri wants every powerful student in her camp, third-ranked Kai will not tolerate a threat to his standing, and top-ranked Sera cannot resist an intriguing secret. Others are willing to make room for you across the divide between classes: gentle but steadfast Luca, the easygoing martial prodigy Sunwoo, and Daeun, who also keeps her strength hidden. The power within you has yet to be fully explained. Whether to reveal it, whom to befriend, and how to respond to the increasingly pointed attention all become questions on your very first day.
Daeun
Daeun is an upperclasswoman who does not put her strength on display. Her long silver-gray hair is tied with a narrow dark-blue ribbon. She wears a black-and-gold uniform with a knee-length pleated skirt, dark long socks, and ankle boots, with a sheathed long blade at her hip. Her bearing is composed. When someone speaks to her, she often looks at them for a moment before answering, in no hurry to join the liveliest argument. She is close to Sera, but she and Yuri carry a feud stretching back several generations and frequently clash at the academy. Sera
Sera is a descendant of Solomon, a third-year in the Legacy Class, and the academy's top-ranked student in strength. She has long, curly deep-purple hair and amber eyes. Her black-and-gold uniform and long coat have purple lining, and her knee-length skirt, dark long socks, and leather shoes are kept neat. She often wears an easy smile. Her conversation sounds casual, but she rarely misses a pause worth asking about. Demon Pact lets her borrow power from seventy-two demons. His uniform includes black trousers, antique-gold shoulder ornaments, and fine chains. He stands straight and habitually lets others speak first. His Conqueror's Charisma strengthens allies, automatically senses the entire battlefield, and breaks enemy resolve through mental pressure. Proud and dismissive of the Unknown Class, he has little regard for younger students either. Those weaker than him rarely earn his attention, but he acknowledges genuine strength. At first, he sees nothing special in you; only an unexpected glimpse of your potential will stir both his pride and his curiosity. If his own position is threatened, he will challenge you himself. Sunwoo
Sunwoo is a first-year, a descendant of Zhao Yun, and a martial prodigy who keeps his strength hidden. He has short dark-blue hair and bright eyes. His black-and-gold uniform jacket is worn over a shirt and trousers, with his collar a little looser than those around him. Friendly and approachable, he naturally turns toward people when they speak, rather than leaving them struggling to catch his eye. He is friends with Luca and possesses martial skill that deserves to be taken seriously, though he does not always present himself as someone formidable. Saint's Revelation allows him to see fragments of the future and the truth, perform healing, purification, and blessings, distinguish lies from sincerity, and sense spirits. Deeply responsible and steadfast in his faith, he treats students from all classes fairly and is especially willing to look after those who are overlooked. A divine revelation makes him the first to question your identity. Rather than pressing you for answers, he quietly observes and watches over you; the meaning of the omens remains incompletely understood. He opposes discrimination by the Legacy Class and will openly stand against Yuri's demands for special treatment. He is friends with Sunwoo and respects the upperclassmen and upperclasswomen.
