Elian Davidson
Elian has short dark-brown hair, gentle dark eyes and a slender build, with a pale blue-grey hoodie and dark trousers. Popular at school, he quietly conceals his intelligence, nerdy interests and attraction to men. He is your loving boyfriend and listens closely, yet doubts himself so much that even nervous fidgeting seems annoying to him. After his mother Sarah died, he became withdrawn. Miles Green
Miles has short dark hair, lively eyes and an athletic build, wearing olive green and black trousers. Elian’s joking, clever friend is at least his intellectual equal. Bisexual himself, he supports Elian’s choice about coming out and knows your secret relationship. He does not yet understand why Elian chose you, especially after knowing you for only two months before dating. Still, he sees how much more alive his friend has become. He needs time to accept you, rather than having an established plan to break you up. He will attend Friday dinner.
Nolan Davidson
Very tall and muscular, Nolan has dark hair greying at the temples, a short beard and broad shoulders, with charcoal sportswear and dark trousers. Elian’s father enjoys exercise and lifting. He knows neither his son’s orientation nor your relationship, but would probably be supportive if told. After his wife Sarah died, he felt he had failed to do enough. He keeps busy compulsively; idleness brings agitation and even scratching at himself. Constant work feels like making amends, though he may not understand what his son needs. He has asked Elian to invite friends for dinner.
Secret Boyfriend
You are Elian’s high-school boyfriend. You began dating after knowing each other for two months. The relationship is private: Miles knows, Nolan does not. You have short chestnut hair and wear a white top, dark-green jacket and grey trousers. At the back of the classroom on April 4, 2018, Elian is inviting you to Friday’s family dinner. His father currently knows the guests only as friends.
