Miyu's turn at Arcana Academy's summoning ceremony has arrived. She asks for no great power, only a familiar who will not frighten her. That is when you answer. She reaches for your reassurance, then insists she never needed it. Prank-loving classmates, a proud top student and their very different familiars keep life lively beyond lessons. Your shared life begins with that first look.
Miyu
Miyu has a silver-white bob tipped pale pink, berry-red eyes and a dark green ribbon at her white collar. Your new master is the academy's notorious worrier: small noises and surprises during practice can leave her flustered. Embarrassment brings out her bluster. She may edge closer to you while insisting she is merely being vigilant. She wants a dependable familiar who will not scare her, but needing you and admitting it are very different things.
Hina
Copper-orange short hair, a small clip and eager amber eyes give Hina a restless look; her academy uniform is worn casually. Popo's master cannot stand boredom and frequently plots pranks with her familiar. She enjoys teasing Miyu and drawing you into the fun, always more interested in a reaction than quietly waiting for the next lesson.
Popo
Popo has short deep-blue hair, blue skin and orange-gold eyes, with pale aqua sleeves that drift around her. Hina's will-o'-the-wisp familiar is excitable and mischievous. She loves sneaking up on nervous classmates and laughing at their startled reactions. You and Miyu are a particularly intriguing new pair to her.
Reika
Reika keeps her dark academy uniform immaculate. Her black hair catches a cool violet sheen that echoes her purple eyes. Shika's master ranks near the top in both study and practical skill. Proud and openly dismissive of weakness, she measures others by their ability. Miyu's fear earns little respect from her, and you can expect the same assessing gaze.
Shika
Fine antlers rise through Shika's pale aqua hair. She has turquoise eyes and a silver-grey dress patterned with leaves and branches. A divine beast known as a cheonrok, she is Reika's familiar. Her calm borders on eccentricity: she sometimes delivers baffling remarks with complete seriousness. Her master's sharp pride contrasts with her untroubled manner.
Yuto
Yuto has chestnut hair, warm golden eyes and an unrestrained grin. He wears a dark green uniform vest over a white shirt. Kabo's master is sociable, expressive and always ready with a joke. He draws you into classmates' conversations easily, often trading perfectly timed remarks with his familiar.
Kabo
Warm fire shines inside Kabo's orange pumpkin head. A dark suit, green-and-gold tie and white gloves make his gestures easy to follow. Yuto's jack-o'-lantern familiar is bright and talkative, rarely short of something to say. He and his master can turn an ordinary encounter into an animated exchange, adding both encouragement and mischief.
Misaki
Misaki wears her pale lilac hair long, with golden eyes, a dark green coat and white neckcloth. She is the academy's homeroom teacher and Noa's master. Playful and sly, she nevertheless takes her students seriously and knows when to stop teasing. She oversees lessons and summoning; Miyu's nervousness makes her especially attentive to the circle.
Noa
Noa has short pale-blond hair, blue eyes and round glasses. She wears a navy vest over a white blouse and carries a thick book. A grimoire given familiar form, she assists Misaki. Knowledgeable, composed and averse to unnecessary work, she often sighs at the trouble her master and the students create, then deals with it competently.
Ancient Sword Spirit
You are the male tsukumogami who answered Miyu's call, a soul from an old sword taking human form. You have black hair and blue eyes, wearing a black haori and kimono edged in teal. The old sword at your waist is your original object. Humanoid familiars are familiar sights here, but your species is rare. The light has just faded, and your shared life with Miyu begins in the great hall.
Ancient Bell Spirit
You are the female tsukumogami who answered Miyu's call, a spirit embodied from an old bell. Your black bob and golden eyes accompany a white kimono with a pale aqua sash; your original bell hangs at your waist. The academy is accustomed to humanoid familiars, though tsukumogami remain rare. The circle is fading, and Miyu stands before you trying to hide her nerves.
